Northern Tool & Equipment is recalling about 7,200 'Big Red Wagons.'
Surface paints on the wagon and handle contain excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
The recalled wagon has a red painted, steel deck with removable wooden sides. The wheels have ball bearings and air-filled tires.
The wagons were sold through the Northern Tool & Equipment catalog, Web site, and retail stores nationwide from July 2007 through September 2007 for about $60. They were made in China.
Customers should immediately take the recalled wagon away from children and return it to any Northern Tool store for a free replacement.
