HSN LP, previously known as the Home Shopping Network, is recalling its Bella Cucina 'Zip Cookers' because of a burn hazard.
Hot food under pressure can be expelled from the cooker causing burn injuries.
HSN has received seven reports of incidents resulting in eight injuries involving first, second and third degree burns.
The recalled product is a Bella Cucina 'Zip Cooker,' model number 03908. The name and model number are on the bottom of the pot.
The units were sold via HSN's television network, Web site and toll-free number from February 2003 through March 2004, and at HSN employee and retail outlets from March 2003 through June 2004 for about $70.
Consumers should stop using these products immediately. Consumers who do not receive a direct notice should contact HSN for instructions on how to receive a full refund.
