Euro-Pro and QVC are recalling about 1,600 Cooks Essentials Deep Fryers. The fryers can overheat, posing a burn hazard.
The recalled fryers include QVC Cook Essentials 3 Liter Stainless Steel Deep Fryers with three baskets. The fryers were sold as item number K14942. Model number F1053Q is printed on a sticker on the bottom of the fryers.
The fryers, made in China, were sold through QVC's televised shopping programs and its Web site from April 2008 through May 2008 for about $60 including shipping costs.
Known purchasers were mailed instructions on obtaining a full refund. Consumers who have not received instructions should contact QVC for refund instructions.
