BMW is recalling the 2008 R1200 GS and R1200 GS Adventure motorcycles. In certain conditions, spurious electrical signals could occur, possibly causing the anti-lock brake system to switch off. Normal braking would still be available.
Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the components free of charge. Owners may contact BMW at 1-800-831-1117.
