2010 Chevrolet Camaro Recall

May 12, 2009
General Motors is recalling about 1,200 Chevrolet Camaros equipped with V8 engines from the 2010 model year. The positive battery cable may contact the starter motor, causing wear on the cable and, eventually, a short.

Dealers will reroute the cable.

Owners may contact Chevrolet at 1-800-630-2438 or at www.gmownercenter.com about Recall No. 090121.

Consumers may contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY: 1-800-424-9153) or at www.safercar.gov.
