Chrysler LLC is recalling several rear-wheel-drive Chrysler and Dodge models because they may been built without a front wheel spindle nut. That could cause a tire-wheel separation when the vehicles were being driven, possibly leading to a crash.
The affected models and model years are:
CHRYSLER / 300 2009-2010
DODGE / CHALLENGER 2009
DODGE / CHARGER 2009-2010
DODGE / CHALLENGER 2010
Dealers will inspect the tire and wheel assembly and, if necessary, repair the spindle nut installation free of charge.
