General Motors is recalling some 2010 Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain models because of problems with the defroster and defogger system.
The company said the software in the center instrument panel can cause the system to become inoperative, raising the possibility of a crash.
Dealers will replace the computer module free of charge when the recall begins in January 2010.
