Toyota is recalling about 215,000 Lexus models for a potential corrosion problem that could cause a fire.
The recall affects these models and model years:
LEXUS / GS 2006-2007
LEXUS / IS 2006-2008
LEXUS / LS 2007-2008
The recalled models are equipped with aluminum fuel delivery pipes, commonly called fuel rails. Ethanol fuels with a low moisture content will corrode the internal surface of the rails, possibly causing fuel leakage, which is a fire hazard.
Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel rails free of charge when the recall begins in February.
