Target Corp. is recalling about 25,000 Summerville toy truck sets sold in its stores from February 2004 through May 2004 for about $6.
Components on the trucks could detach, posing a choking and sharp point hazard to young children.
The recall includes Summerville four-piece truck sets. The multicolored trucks are about 4.5-inches long. Various types of trucks sold in the sets include dump trucks, cement trucks, utility trucks, garbage trucks, box trucks, fuel trucks, and tow trucks. Writing on the trucks includes EMERGENCY, HEAVY DUTY, or CITY SERVICE. Summerville and the item number 204 02 0458 are written on the packaging.
Consumers should return the recalled trucks to Target for a refund.
The recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
